Default 2 silver and a wheatie

I got rained out yesterday but this morning I got out for a few hours with the DF and sniffed out a few more oldies. I'm still learning the DF and so far I like what I see. It is deep and sensitive, can't wait for my first try in the salt water. Looks like a road trip soon. Good luck all, Jim

Nice coins!
It never ceases to amaze me how much trash is in the water/sand.
People just throw it in not caring because they can't see it anymore.

I have a friend who converted a hotel in upstate CT on a lake that I want to hunt but not before I waterproof my GT... the hotel was built in 1801 should be goodies in front of it as its direct waterfront...

Wow, Lots of digging Jim...nice going on the coins! Are you detecting the same spots you have gone over with the BHID?

Joe, that was the reason I bought the Dual Field. I thought it would be a perfect place to test out the DF vs the BHID for depth and see if I had targets that were too deep for the BHID. I didn't expect to go out and fill my pockets going over the same area I have hunted for 3 seasons with the BHID, I just wanted to compair the two. I am still in the learning phase with the DF and I have found some deep targets. So far it tells me the BHID is a great machine for fresh water with the dis mode and the DF may be a little deeper machine. In all fairness I have spent a lot of time in the old swimming hole with the BHID and cleaned it pretty well. I think they are both the best out there and would recomend Whites detectors to anyone, not to mention great customer service. Well good luck to all you Pirates, Jim
