Default Coils... What's the difference?

Recently bought a Whites M6. I upgraded from an Ace 250. I am hunting a city park which has a lot of trash.Would like to know the difference between the Eclipse 5.3 coil and the Eclipse Shooter DD 4X6. Thanks... Rickster

Good one Wolf........The 5.3 is concentric and good for trashy areas..It will go a lil' deeper than the 4x6......4x6 is for trashy areas also and bad grounds with heavy minerlazation...Good on target separation and great to get close to metal poles or such with a narrower foot print.....

The 4x6 is great in trashy areas or near metal fences, playground equipment etc. Never used the other. RickO

Here is a picture that will give you some idea of the advantages and disadvantages of the different coil types.
