Default New Member, soon to be new detector
Hello everyone. I'm a brand new member and I haven't (yet) started metal detecting. But I can't wait to get started and start participating in the forum!

In the "All About Detectors" forum I posted a thread looking for advice on my first detector. Later I'll also be looking for advice on techniques and where to look, but I don't want to put the cart before the horse.

I'm also a collector of classic and modern US coins.
