Default First Gold/Diamonds with The new DF and OMG! Wow!
I scored my first gold with the new Whites DF about a foot down on my 4th hunt with it and Oh my I was pleasantly surprised when I pulled the scoop up. It says 14k IBG (C) on it which is I.B. Goodman Company. It weighed at 8 grams but the scale I used don't have points so it could be a little more or a little less. I don't know how to tell carats either but I guess 1/2 carat maybe 3/4 I really don't know. I will have it appraised though. It also says PAT on it. I think it may actually be Platinum being on the I B Goodman website I did not see any white gold for sale. Their rings are expensive and I believe this ring just paid for my machine.....and roof repairs as well...lol. Any info on how to tell if it is Platinum as I never pulled any platinum before? I also cleaned the ring after these pictures so it looks a little nicer now. I love this DF......The only problem with it is it goes so deep I sometimes have like 2 foot deep holes....

WOW, Man you are on a role now!! Congrats on your ring!!! I see that machine is really working for you! Nice to see someone else using the Dual Field and know what they are doing. lol Congrats! Let us know what the value is!

Yeah man it's a great machine. Did you sell yours? If not give it another try. I found another ring too that was fake though.

Yeah I sold it a few months ago, I am still thinking of getting an Excal 2 to be able to discriminate. I am so happy for you that you are liking that Dual Field and that find possibly paid for your machine!

Congrats on the ring Chunky... you have the advantage over VLF users... more will come for sure Poor Pat If the ring was platinum it would say Plat or Plat 950 its gold...

oh man that is a nice ring always makes me wonder how things were lost and kinda bad you know something like that completely ruined someones day but made yours funny how life works

Yes I have been very excited all day. This is probably going to be my most valuable ring so far because of the size of the diamonds. Being new to the water and finding the ring on my fourth hunt is awesome to me especially being I been in the fluff for a year and I find 1 ring like every 500 pennies. In the water I found not even 20 pennies and a ring, actually 2 rings the other is copper or something. If I can clean it up I'll post it here. Thanks all!
