Default Playground/Park finds

From Sunday AM. Detected a school playground again. Most of the change was by the swings, slides and monkey bars has just a few coins. I also decided to try the grass around the school. Started by a big tree and was ringing up pulltabs left and right. Changed the discrim to dimes and quarters but hit a bottle top and penny on the dime mode so went to quarter only. Found 2 Q's, one right on top and another about 4'' down that rang up as a half dollar (saw the Ace read it, so added 50 cents to the discrim). For some reason my probe didn't feel the Q so I took a plug and there it was dead center?? Perhaps the Q was on an angle or something, which could have read to the ringing up as a half dollar. I also found a funky earring in the playground. Alas, not marked.

Nice going! Just because it's not marked doesn't mean it can't be real. It looks like silver with onyx?

Epi - I had to discriminate as the detector was going nuts ringing up pulltabs all over the place. The poor area would have looked like a minefield if I tried digging them up Part of the problem is the park is used for firework displays so a lot of pull tabs make it into the ground, along with can slaw also
