Here's to a Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there. Enjoy your day. I know I'm going to.

This is my first Father's day without my dad. He passed away this
year as did my mother.

I realized I had nothing left of anything he ever gave me,
of the toys, the bikes, the books, the memorabilia of his life
I'd lost or given away everthing except a Kennedy half dollar
he found at a yard sale once and gave me.

I know you can't hold on to everything. But hold on
to what you have now.

Give your dad a hug if you can.

This is my third year without mine and I find I miss him every bit as much as I did the first year without him. Those of you that still have yours, don't take everyday you have him or your Mom for granted, truth is, they won't always be here with us. Whatever the right thing is for you................Do It.
