Default Silver Cache

Not very old but just under 5 pounds of Silver coins dating from 1929 to 1961.! All found huddled together in the back garden of an old derelict house. I am going back tomorrow as I have only detected one third of the property. I thought I was going to have a heart attack they way my heart sped up when these came out of the dirt.

Way to go !!!!

This is every MD'er's dream! So, how many coins make up this cache, and what is the total dollar amount (actually, I guess it would be in pounds and shillings and such)?

Hmm..those seem to be mainly shillings and florins. Did you mean 5 pounds by weight?!
Great find in any case.

Holy Cannoli I'd use stronger language but it wouldn't read the same after the filter got through with it

I went back to the site and found a copper ring and 9 more Silver coins.

The Cache was stacked up in what looked like wax impregnated cardboard tubes. These fell apart spilling the contents into the dirt.

Total weight of the coins is just over 5 Pounds.
