Default Interesting day.

I went door knocking today and met some great people. I got access to about 50 acres of land that had around 30 homes on them from the early 1800's. All of the people were prominent in the area around the time and wealthy. I then got access to a couple of other spots which I'm going to keep secret right now that are even better. Pumped.

Cool man let us know how it turns out. Wish I had the nerve to do some knocking!

Everybody was so nice today. One lady was a little too "nice."

I went to one house and I didn't see any cars there but I figured I'd give a ring anyways. I don't know how I did it but I managed to set off some type of alarm. I waited for a couple of minutes and left. All of a sudden a two cruisers shoot by me, I'm guessing going to that house

Good to see that yesterday's rejections didn't keep you down. I'm with Diggler, I don't have the nerve to cold call either.

Best of luck and I look forward to seeing some of your finds.

It was tough the first couple of times, now I really enjoy it. Even if they say no, you can get some good information and make connections.

Awesome.. I made a post where I had the same luck. It's posted under 'virgin'. I did one stop and the first elderly lady I talked to has a large area that butts against the area where the 3rd confederate calvary of Arkansas had a battery set up. The land has never been searched to her knowledge. Virgin dirt. Good luck to you.

Great... glad to see you got some good sites to search. How 'nice' was that lady?? Did she offer pie and coffee? Inquiring minds want to know. RickO
