Default MXT - Big Item

Don't know why but I've yet to dig the Big Item signal.
Curious if anything good would turn up and if you dig em or not and if so what were your Big Items?
Thanks

The ones I chose to dig turned out to be beer cans. But that doesn't mean there aren't any caches left.

Just hit a big item sound with my xterra 505 tonight. Nearly blow my ears off Wasn't going to dig it at first thought it was another can or big piece of metal but as I swing the coil back and forth listening and making up my mind I said self if you don't dig it whats the point of being out here Turned out to be a nice silver pendent with what might be a gold plate with initials. It was about 6 inches deep.

I have found only one cache, dating from the 1870 time frame. It was 6" down.

Prior to this, I dug everything and it was always JUNK. Now, I have a new rule: I will only dig large ferrous items when below 6". That has eliminated most of my big item hits, (like beer cans) save for that stupid Model T engine block I was tricked by!
