Default Looking For The Rest of tha Pistol

Hi Folks,

I went back down to the river yesterday,

I wanted to look for the rest of this pistol I found
the cylinder for the day before,

Unfortunately, I didn't find any more pistol parts,
and it was hot. Those are drops of sweat on the
asphalt in this photo,

But I found an old animal trap. It has everything
except the chain. I usually just find pieces,

This thing I found has me stumped. It seems to
be brass. It seems to be hand made..... It is not
scratched or bent. It has a nice red patina,

I guess I'll just go back to lookin for my next
nice find and stop worrying about tha pistol.

But, it will always be in tha back of my mind.

I guess that is just tha way it is in tha Arkie
treasure huntin lands.

Happy Huntin Yawl,

Tabdog

Nice finds regardless! You'll find that pistol as soon as you stop looking for it!

Hay IC,

Yes that's the Arkansas River. But it is a ways
down stream from you. It is in Pulaski County.

People seem to think I do OK.

I sure would like to find more relic hunting sites,

Happy Huntin,

I agree with that. Anyway, a cylinder doesn't fall from
the Revolver's frame so easily....

I really like the hand/leg iron too!! I wonder what the story is behind that? Escaped convict busted it off while on the run? Blood hounds hot on his heels? There goes the old imagination again! Ha Ha!

Great finds!

That was my thought pattern as well! Think about it. In the woods, by the river, break the leg irons off, jump in the river to elude the bloodhounds! What a great find! Congratulations! American history in your hands!
