Default Barber dime and Barber half dollar in same hole

Found the 1894 Barber half dollar down about 8 inches checked my hole again and there was still a signal which as the 1898 Barber dime. I've never found a Barber before and to find both in one hole is amazing. Found with my Ace 250 and the DD 10x14 coil from Kellyco. I was getting a half dollar and silver reading but then I tried my standard coil on another Ace 250 I have and it wouldn't pick it up because of the depth. Glad I bought this larger coil. They are in good condition and appear to have some value when I checked online.

Amazing...In great shape too. I have never dug a coin that deep. Maybe I need to invest in a new coil...

I forgot to mention I found these at a 1896 farm house that I have search over a dozen times. The area I found these I have gone over probably more than a dozen times. Keep searching those sites you know hold good coins.

That is a sweet score for sure!!!

You have me about one click away from buying that bigger coil for my 250.

You also have me about one click away from some serious 'splainin' to do to my better half. Perhaps when she asks about the purchase, I'll just have her PM you directly.

Congrats on those super finds!!

Congrats on some very nice finds! You are correct on any site, and especially older ones like that, keep going over them time and time again, especially when the ground is moist after a rain. Good Luck on future hunts there!
