Ok, I narrowed it down to my first upgrade from a Bounty Hunter to a High Tone Vaquero.
Now I am obsessing about headphones. Hearing is still pretty good, but I seem to hear higher range a little better than low, and I will keep this machine until I am so old I can't lift it anymore. I have read several threads about headphones but I have to start just one more for my own piece of mind. So much info...everyone has different "ears" and opinions...head swimming... Probably Gray Ghost or Killer B's (lifetime warranty), but the Koss UR 30's and Jolly Rodgers and other brands have their fans, too. So, anyone want to chime in here with an opinion would be appreciated. Specifically, Vaquero owners, but all opinions welcomed. Basic facts of what I "think" I am looking for... Volume control. I think I want full, over the ear cups...or do I for the best signal reproduction? Don't really think I need a fold-able pair but that is ok if they are. It gets hot here, high 90's into triple digits, and I am just crazy enough to be out there in that kind of heat, so something that will not turn into a sauna would be nice, if that is even possible with full cups. Quality of sound is very important...I wanna hear those "whispers". Good warranty and service is always a plus. Anything else I forgot, veterans and newbies with an opinion always appreciated. Thanks! Digger27 HH __________________ |
