Smile Newbie from Pittsburgh

After months of research, I am ready to enter the world of full time prospecting. Recently purchased my Gold Bug 2 and am assembling my gear for a mid May trip to the Colorado high country. I am as excited as I can be. My hope is to make this become my "life's work". Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

Nice detector for gold!!!........I'm in the process of learning to gold hunt myself, so I don't really have any words of wisdom other than what I have read, or heard. Go a little slower with your swing of the coil when searching for gold, and listen for even slight wispers. Good Luck, and let us know what you find, and what you've learned!!!

Welcome aboard Billy, and good luck with your nugget hunting. I am not familiar with your detector, but I have the White's GMT and TDI.. great nugget machines. HH RickO

Congrats on your detector purchase and your journey to CO.Remember,,,,,,,,,If Gold was easy to find,,,it wouldn't be worth as much as it is (way too much during these times).

You might spend countless hours finding everything but,,,,Then again Ya never know Good luck and the MAIN THING,,,,,,,,HAVE FUN !!!!

here is a picture i captured from another forum,,,34 freakin ounces of Australian Happy Rocks.
