Default Eagle and Anchor

I found this on an old U.S Army camp at Ballarat Australia. The camp was used during the 2nd World War and I thought this was a good find. About 2 feet away I dug a St Christopher bage as well, in those days you needed every bit of luck you could get..

Nice find. There's no telling what else you'll be digging up at a place like that. No doubt you'll be finding some of our US change there as well.

Great find! I think that is the symbol for the United States Marine Corp.

Judging by its size, it is the Marine insignia that was worn on the "piss cutter" cap.

What can I say, That's what my D.I. 1st referred to the soft cap. The Corps itself was referred to as the Cr*tch.

OORAH Marine Corps!! could have been worn on the piss cutter or the collar of Service "A" (Alpha) uniform.
