Default What does this key go to?

Howdy diggers,
I found an unusual key. It looks like a car key, but it has a wreath around it and an odd looking attachment loop. Thanks for your help! HH!

Maybe a hope chest or something like that - just a guess

Looks like a Cadillac key with the emblem missing from the center. I had one back in the 70's that had that edging.

There used to be an enameled emblem in the middle.

It might be a Caddy, but the style wasn't uncommon.

It is a car key. Back in the 70's I had a key like that for my 73 Dodge Dart. You could get them made at most key places with the emblem for whatever make of car or trick you had. I may still have it in a drawer someplace. Then emblem was plastic and stuck on in the center of the wreath. The one you have lost it's emblem.
