imo.its a meteorite. it is orented .its shaped by the entry and burn afect.with small "thumb prints" not realy that size. but small burned indentations. the rust is called "terestialized". it means it has been on earth for long enough to rust.even a loss of the density over time. they are mostly made of iron. they have contrites in side. its a space rock finger print. under an electron microscope it will look like crystals.but you must cut it paper thin to see them. you use a dimond edge wet saw to cut or polish them.

if you think it is junk. i would gladly pay the shiping for it. lol

its worth about 20 to 40 $$ a gram.
