Default Almost a heart stopper

Dug a buch of coins & some jewelry in 2 schools today. Got this gold looking ring with hearts & diamonds - thought "hey, a cheap Valentine's Day present ! ". Most of the discolorations are from poor lighting.

But I didn't luck out as the 18 K was followed by the dreaded 3 letters we hate to see - HGF. Heavy gold filled, as in PLATED ! Oh well, it was exciting for a while. Actually, I already had a present & card for my Valentine.steve in

Like they say, Rings is rings. I would have welcomed those today. 5 hours, a hand full of clad and three wheaties. But it was a beautiful day with my new detecting friends.
