Default Wrapping up 2009

There's a foot of snow outside and it looks like it's going to stay that way for a while, unfortunately. So here's a quick wrap-up of my 2009 season:
I pretty much kicked last year's butt. I made time to detect (though I still didn't get out as much as I wanted to). And, as is reflected in the numbers, I just cherry-picked if it was too hot or too cold, or if I only had a little bit of time (lots of half-hour hunts!).
I topped 2008 in pretty much every category, so that was good. And I think I can improve again in 2010, knock on wood and cross my fingers.
My clad totals:
* 3 Dollar coins (2 Sacagawea, 1 Susan B.)
* 2 Halves
* 405 Quarters
* 331 Dimes
* 38 Nickels
* 520 Pennies (64 Wheaties)
That's a total of $145.45 clad.
I also found 26 silver coins:
* 4 quarters: 2 Washington, 1936 and 1946; 1 no date SLQ; 1 1965 Canadian
* 17 dimes: 7 Mercs, 192?, 1926D, 1937, 1943, 1945, 1927, 1941; 10 Rosies, 1956, 1960, 1963D, 1946, 1953, 1958, 1957, 1946, 1951, 1964
* 4 Wartime nickels: 1942P, 1943P, 1944P, 1944P
* 1 1856-O half dime
There was also a 1904 Indian Head penny I dug, and a nice, crisp $5 bill lying in the grass that I ran across the morning after the end of our community fair. I also earned a $25 commission for (successfully) finding a local resident's property markers. And I found 4 .925 silver rings and a sterling silver tie clip.
Plus, I rid my community's parks of what seems like a half-ton of metallic rubbish.
The most frustrating find of the year was from a property that I need to get back to more often. It looks (by size) to be a half cent or possibly a colonial copper of some sort, but unfortunately it's so corroded that I can't make out any details on it at all.
My best find of the year? Definitely the half dime. Here's a different picture of it than I already posted.
Thanks to everyone in the community here - you've definitely inspired and informed me along the way.
Best of luck to everyone in 2010!!
