Thanks for the warm welcome.
I just took bakc up metal detecting from a long absence. I used to have a White's from the 70's. I now acquired a Bounty Hunter 202. I've done alot of prospecting and placer mining over the years. I understand that the BH 202 with the 4" coil is great for nugget shooting. Does anyone have any experience with this? Love to hear from you. If you live in the Reno/Sparks Nevada area let's connect for a day.

Jeff

Welcome to the forum Jeff!
Not sure if BH 202 is any good for nugget hunting but I suppose you will find some in all metal mode.

Welcome aboard Jeff... if you are going to be nugget hunting, a gold machine would be the best selection (i.e. White's GMT or TDI). HH RickO

Thanks you all for the warm welcome. Happy Thanksgiving Day as well.
Today I'll be going out to gain some experience with the BH 202. I have the standard 8" coil and a set of head phones. I'll post my finds later today. Today I'll hit up several parks and playgrounds in my area. New batteries have been installed and I'm ready to go. If anyone here is from the Sparks/Reno, Nevada area would enjoy getting together on a future excursion.

Jeff
