Default ***STUPID STUPID Tesoro Silver Umax***

You know I went out today with the Silver Umax, I thought I would give it another chance. Well yesterday I found a class ring with it, and thought It was cool that I did, when I went over that area with the Ace 250.

Well today I went back to a street and sidewalk tear out that I hit before with the Ace 250, and all I found was 7 Wheaties and my oldest Merc. I also found my first Tootsie Car. I mean what the hell happened to all of the zincoln's I used to find, what happend to all the great signals that I used to get and dig up junk. What happened to those things, I guess those days are over. The stupid Tesoro Silver Umax took all of those things away from me. What was this company thinking when they made this machine? I want my junk digging days back, and I want them back now.

Ok ok here are the pictures. Thanks for reading.

Also is there something up with this 1929 Wheat I found, the date looks weird, is this just what they look like, or is it just me.

Sorry it's a little blurry but It's the best I can do. But the 1 and the 2 just look different to me, maybe not I guess not?

Here are a couple more 1929 wheats, I think you can see that the nines were just made bigger and makes the 1 & 2 look odd. Al

Yea I like this Umax, it made a weird sound on most of the wheat's, it was like a chatter but it was a solid signal, hard to explain, like SkiWiz said in another forum, the Tesoro's have a language to themselves and you have to learn what they are telling you.

Thanks for reading guys. I at starting to love this unit, but I will not forget about my Ace250, the Umax I think is great for trash area's, The place I was hunting today was just full of trash and I still got some good finds. The Umax I think has a really fast recover time on it and I think that's what saved my butt today otherwise I would have found nothing.

Careful, don't brag that uMax up over the Ace too much, don't want the Classified section of the forum to get overfilled .

Right, I will tell you that I am really torn between the ace 250 and the Silver Umax. If there was a way to combine both of them together then who ever did it would have one hell of a machine, I would love to have both of them together in one detector, a person with this machine would be unstoppable, nothing would hide from them, they could find everything. Even so much so that they would get sick of metal detecting, they would find so much goodies that it wouldn't be fun anymore. LOL

Where have ya been man they have already made the machine you're talking about, actually two of them. They are called a DeLeon and a Cortes. Steve.

LOL ok in new to the tesoro line, so they are the ones huh, do you have one of those. You could really convince me if you sent one to me to use for awhile to make sure it's what you say it is. LOL

In all honesty I had a DeLeon and it didn't impress me that much, I didn't feel the meter was all that accurate. I would love to try a Cortes but have never been able to afford one. Steve.
