There is a relatively new battery on the block. I didn't find any posts on here about it. It is produced by Power Genix in San Diego. NextTag.com sells them in 8-packs 4-packs and 4-packs with charger. so does Amazon. They may be just what we are looking for in the MDing world. They retain no memory and have 2500 MW 1.6 Volts instead of the 1.2. Someone who knows electronics might want to check them out and elaborate more. Put the description in Google and decide for yourself. Let us know.HH

I have been looking for some AA rechargables for awhile now. Up until now I have only found the 1.2 volt batteries, WTG on this new info man. I will for sure pick some up, I will grab the 8 pack and I already have a nice charger for them. So when I get them and use them I will let you all know what I think about them. I have some really nice 9.4 volt rechargeables that I use, and I love those. They are made by BTY the are true 9 volts, they are 9.4 volts and 300mAh and they last forever in my machines. I picked up a 4 pack on Ebay for about 12 Bucks that's a deal for these for sure. If you need 9 volts these are the ones you might want to check out, and as far as the charger goes, these batteries never truly die so some voltage is still left in them so any decent 9 volt charger will charge the 300mAh batteries.
Thanks for sharing. |

They claim you should use their charger. I don't know if this is just to get you to buy one or not. Check it out first. High end camera shops should carry them also but you can definitely get a better deal on line. The 4 battery and charger go for about $35 and the 4-pack of batteries goes for about $14. They also claim them to be "Green" for the invironment.

Be sure you match the charger to the battery. They are different!

Hey Vito!
www.greenbatteries.com/ This is a great site that explains the diff. I talked with a Whites rep because I was concerned about the 1.6 V vs the 1.2V rechargeable. He said no problem. ![]() Note: The NiZn are FAST CHARGE batteries. two hours max. The other two are slow charge, that's why you need the dedicated charger.
