Default Hunted Sports Fields Most Of The Day....No Rings, So I made A Coinring Out Of A Wheat Cent That I Dug

<center>

Spent most of the day hunting soccer fields. Most of them turned out to be duds. I did much better in baseball fields searching the outfields. My best find was a 1944 Wheat cent which I turned into a ring.....if you can't find one, you make one.

I like your ring, is an interesting idea. How often do you run across US coins while detecting in Canada? In four months of detecting I have found 3 Canadian pennies and one British Half -Penny. Everything else been US coins.

Very cool, I have not seen a coin ring from a cent before. RickO

That is awesome! What a great idea. I'm going to have to try that, I dont think I will be using any of my silver maybe a wheat or indian head. Thanks for sharing that.

Great finds! From a former goldsmith, that coin ring idea is simple with amazing results! Great job and thanks much for sharing the article.
