Hey all new guy here just bought my first detector...ace 250 had a practice run in my garden and am now ready to go for the big dig.

so minnie, how did the garden test run go? Gardens on some homesteads have been worked for decades. Should be a coin or two maybe a ring....Good luck with the Ace....Gil

Hi and many Thanks for the warm welcome,the garden test dig was ok i found
a few british coins none of any age a bullet case, a brass hinge.
I`m now looking forward to getting out and about will keep you all posted....thanks again

Yes,welcome from one of those fellow"across the ponders".You cant go wrong with the ace as a starter.The pennies and 2ps will flood in.Just to encourage,I found a cartwheel penny at about 8" so you will find old stuff with it.
