Help with Gold - real or fake?

Sorry about the pictures, can't get close ups. I have two bracelets, one with silver on the front and gold on the back?, the other is gold. On each one is inscribed ".925" China. How can i tell if real. Does china fake these? it came out of the ground shiny and no tarnish.

I am sorry to tell ya this, but 925 usually means silver.
The gold is platting.

925 would be very soft if it was gold.

I'm in agreement with Tabdog, 925 indicates sterling silver. In your case bowman, I'll bet you're looking at sterling silver with a few microns of gold plating. Congrats on your finds, silver is always a welcome pull!
