Default unidentified badge

Anyone have any ideas on this,it says Honi.soit.out.mal.t.pense on it.What language could that be.

The letters in the middle might refer to nutcases known as 'Society for Creative Anachronism'

This looks like a Military Cap Badge, the one on the other site has the attachment arm that you can see at the bottom of the Badge.! The Canadian Army Service Corps had a very similar Hat Badge during WW11 and the letters CAS/ASC in the middle of the Badge would seem to confirm this, anyway for what it's worth..

The belt and buckle around it is a usual theme with Scottish Clans. You might want to start with that.
