Default Parting out my vehicles

I havent gotten out too much lately with all the rain, but I was rather bored and I did manage a quick hunt out in my own back yard, late last night.

Of course nothing valuable popped out of the ground, but I was able to score some of my old matchbox cars, from when I was a kid. I realized I was in the spot where my old swingset used to be set up, so it made sense.

Its always neat to find stuff that you never even knew you had lost

You can go trade those clunkers in over at your local car dealer for a new ride. LOL!

Cool finds!

Nice finds for old memories . But it looks like you was pretty distructive in your younger days as most of those cars are tore up pretty bad .

Looks like an aerial view of a junkyard, but MUCH cleaner.

Nice. I have started a decent car and parts collection, too.

Cute! I had to laugh out loud at that one.

Great photo; everything's so nicely arranged and organized!

Did you actually recognise your old toy cars? They must have brought back a lot of fond memories!

Hehe a lot of those toy cars you have found I still have. I collected them from a young age, and after about 12 I kept them all in packages. I have somewhere near 225 from about 1998 and prior. Thanks for reminding me

Well actually most were still in recognizable form other than a few lawn mower whacks, but they were so deeply caked in dirt I took them all apart once I dug them up.

I know I wish I hadnt been so careless in my childhood, cause now I also collect matchbox/hot wheels cars. Ive got alot of older ones now, and most are still in the packages as well.

Of course when we are kids, we never really think of collector values, or what they would be worth if they were never used or still boxed up, but thats part of the fun in being a child I guess.

Here's a car I drove when I was 17. I paid a whopping $350. Wish I could dig it up somewhere.

I totally forgot that when I was like 7, i was given about 40 Matchbox from the 60's- all "Made by Lesney in England". I beat them up... ran them over with my bike, smashed them with hammers.... I sure wish I had them in my collection today!
I wonder what happened to my original Transformers and M.A.S.K. toys?
