Default My dry sand hunts from Destin

Been back from vacation almost two weeks, just busy.

Here are the pictures of the beach hunts i was able to do in Florida while i was there.

Also a couple TEETH that i found out in the water goofing with the kids... Any ideas what from. One actually looks like a cat claw???

Anyway, here you go..

The tooth on the right is a shark's tooth. They loose them costantly, and have an endless supply while they're alive. The one on the left is not a tooth, but a spine such as from a small stingray. It could also be a bone from the dorsal area of a fish.

Excellent finds Swepty Living in the great lakes, I wouldn't know what a sharks tooth looked like if you threw one at me. However, Musky, and Pike have some nasty grabbers in their mouths. Not something you would want to thumb to bring into the boat.

That looks like a tail from an immature horseshoe crab, the one on the left.
