Default Whites Electronics

A few years ago Whites Electronics came out with a.999 silver commemorative coin and with each story I submitted and they accepted I decided to get one for every story. For every story before these coins came out they would give $200 in free merchandise now its $100 and submissions are only twice per year. I would have to go back to 96 because that’s when I got my first story it was a 14k Gold men’s anniversary band with 6 good sized diamonds. That’s when I got my lesson on discrimination by a forum member. So I’m trying to get some more stories out to catch up coins verses stories.

Couldn’t come at a better time I am going to Vermont this weekend and wanted the new Tee shirt and sweatshirt to bring with me. Well this is what I do I refine the silver I find and collect the silver from Whites when I submit the stories of my finds.

What you don’t see is that first Gold 1oz bar or coin I am shooting for this year. I want to give my son his first 1oz gold bar to put away for when he gets bigger and needs the money. I’m hoping on one ounce per year to help pay for his college and if silver goes up the way they say it will he’s got plenty of those to cash in because I have another 4oz to cash in I'm just waiting for that gold to start jumping out at me so I can refine the gold…

Thanks Ricko I appreciate it I worked hard on building this collection of refined bars and coins and wanted to share someone that has brought an extra added level of fun for me. I was wrong about the stories I submitted it looks like I only put out 7. I found six that were posted and one that never made the page but still got the merchandise.

Making the page is a big deal and just a little advise to those still trying. I know a lot of people still trying to make the Whites page I think it’s a real big deal.

Try not to talk about the find so much but stick to what you like about the detector and how the feature you like helped you make the find. Like I used block edit with the DFX a lot so I talked about how I liked the block edit feature and how by using it hit a gold ring or old coin or something and that no other detector offered such a feature. Pretend you are trying to sell the metal detector and not your find and you’ll make the web page.

I do however look at those display cases and think what mine would have looked like had I kept everything. I did contact the mint on the old beat up silver and they will not issue another merc or half. If your beat up change adds up to a dollar they will send a dollar. Not really a good trade but thanks again RickO I just wanted to share my collection and how it has grown over the last few years. Hope you get out there this weekend and pull some nice silver for that matter I'm hoping someone finds a gold coin haven’t seen one of those yet.

Jamie

Jamie,
That is really neat. Thanks for sharing and good luck on your quest for gold.
