Default Pretty sure it's from a car

I found this a couple of weeks back in an old park close by. It was about 4 inches down. To me, it reminds me of a 1950's hood emblem, but I can't place the make/model. It's heavily corroded, so i havent been able to find any part numbers on it. Below are some pictures and one with lines added detail that is hard to see. Can you identify what model it came from?

Ok, I'm pretty sure it's from a Chevrolet, because I think I see a hint of Bowtie.

Bah I figured it out I think.
1947-48 Chevrolet it seems. One of the basic models.

Yah thats from the peak of the hood. There also was an emblem on the front on some of the models. Those old cars sure had a lot of chrome on them. Must've been a bear to polish them!
