6/11 Indians
A couple days ago I went back to some of the areas near my house where I've had luck in the past. I found a 1907 Indian Head Penny in the woods, and a 1908 in the road, plus a 1984 penny. You can really tell the 1908 has lived a much harder life than the 1907 - it's nearly impossible to clean, while in a peroxide bath, the 1907 cleaned up beautifully (but lost its original green patina). I also found a few other things - a diamond shaped tag with the number 24 on it (what would this have been for?), a gear, and a small buckle.

Great Hunt. Who knows what that 24 tag is. May be a valuable find.
