Default Keep it or sell it

I Started by looking for a new coil for my xlt before i knew it i bought a dfx with a 6x10 eclispe dd coil and a 950. I was happy with what i had i guess its just the guy in me to want more then I need,, I paid 575.00 total for the dfx with the extra coil (retails for 179.00 ) some say the xlt is better well i belive it all comes down to user and site. i belive i can sell my xlt for 300.00 spectrum so that would be a 275.00 upgrade. good move or not thats your vote should i keep the xlt or sell i hear people talk like that have so many and write now i think i am in trouble if the old lady finds out lol

Any change you can get your wife hooked into MDing. Trust me, it is worth the investment

How many children do you have? If more than one, apply the same logic to the children that you're trying to apply to the extra detector and she'll understand.

I had the same problem collecting detectors. I came to realize i needed to get proficient at only one and it was a dissadvantage to have and use so many. I ended up with a land, gold and beach detector.
on the other hand 300 dollars goes fast and a detector will give you more enjoyment being used then a fast 300.
Just some thing to consider.

Default Some good advice

I have a whites XLT and it is really a turn on and go machine. You just have to take the time to learn the detector. Once you do all the good finds start rolling in. You must also do lot's of research if you really want to find the older items.....I do and almost every hunt I go on, I find something good!!

Default thanks

well i just decided to sell, i am sure the dfx will work out until i find that my kids or wife can do somthing with me then will reinvest in one to share, I need a water machine to go and float around at the beach with the kids, if i ever get there. so ill be saving up for a excal or a PI I always been dreaming of wather hunting but with the dfx i am on my way to the tide line and i am sure i can learn with the dd 6x10 and maybe do some finds to help invest for that 1200 or so lol thanks and happy hunting to all
