Default MC, 107 Seal

Hubby and I went detecting today and I found 4 Indian Head pennies, some other stuff, and this seal.

I'm wondering what the initials on the front and the number on the back mean.

Can anyone enlighten me?

Not meaning to steal Snowy's (wifey's) string, but if seeing what else we found there can help, here's what I found:

Oh... if you're a coin enthusist, the "birthdays" are (in the order they're laid out):
Barber... 1902
Merc..... 1919
IH......... 1860
IH......... 1890
IH......... 1902
Wheat... 1911
Wheat... 1917
Wheat... 1919
Wheat... 1920
Wheat... 1923

BTW... a train went right by the place which took locals (and tourists, including Canadians) there.
