Default need help

my mine lab xterra 50 will not power up anymore

just a buch of goobly goog on the screen- It's just a yeqr old..
does anyone know what might be the problem.

Have installed new batteries-does not help

is there a reset button or combination that I can do to reset it?????

Diggler have you tried going back to the factory preset(FP)? In case you haven't, have the 50 turned off, then press and hold down the Menu button while turning the 50 back on. It should show FP on the display then go back to normal. I hope this will be the fix.
