Smile Give a Penny Take a penny

This isn't really a metal detecting find, but an interesting one. Yesterday, I was at 7-11 with my friend before going to this bonfire, and while we were paying, I glanced at the "Give a penny Take a penny" thing,

And there's a Steel Penny in there.

I'm sure anyone with no knowledge of coins would probably keep it because it didn't look normal... But maybe someone left it there b/c they thought it was ugly or something. So I took it

Anyway, I think its a nice random find!

I've done this on more than one occasion. I don't think the general population has a clue about coins and their value/rarity.

If you notice... I've never seen a steely dug on here... most, including me would pass on digging the iron signal. Take em when you can get em! Good eye!
