Default Odd Triple Silver Coin Combination. Gold Filled Junker.

I was able to get out this afternoon in the mild weather. I dug a nice silver Washington quarter. Really happy with that. It has been a while since I've scored a silver quarter. Thought I had a nice little gold ring, but its marked 14K GF. Dug my first silver Canadian dime. It's a 1966. The third silver is a 1942 S War Nickel. That's an odd silver coin combination!

Dang nice silver trio Stiff!

I like the ring too, even if gf, it looks cool.

Looks like you could use some rain that way too, nice hunting!

I agree, Id be delighted with that hunt. Are all the pennies Lincolns, or is there maybe an Indian in there?

Congrats.

Triple silver hunt, whats not to love ? Congrats SW on a very successful hunt. The ring is a cool find too. End of the week bringing mild temps here, would love to get out for a hunt. Good luck, Mark

Title says "Odd Triple Silver Coin Combination". Somehow, I guessed a war nickel would be one of them, but I had no idea about the other 2. Now I see what you mean. Great hunt. Too bad the ring was a heartbreaker, though. Next time...

Unfortunately, no Indians this time. There's always the next hunt though!

Thanks Foragist! I've been over a good number of War nickels these past 3 years. I need to check and see if I have the full set. That Canadian dime was my first silver from up North.

Awesome finds! I love war nickels and congrats on the Canadian silver! Those are hard to find around here too.

That's a fantastic hunt, Tyler! Complete with a larger silver coin, your first 10 Canadian silver, the semi-elusive war nickel, and some wheat cents to top it all off! Nice job!
