Default Farm Fresh Ford Relic

I have a local permission that I frequent after work when I have the chance, The pickings are slim but its a chance to get some time in on the Equinox. I have tried the 15" in the fields, the 11" in the general house areas, and the six inch in the trashy areas as there is a lot of iron on this site. It is an old farm with plenty of space and I have been over it numerous times. I was using the six inch coil next to the old house between the bits of aluminum siding, and rusty nails when I found the Ford plate. I think it is a neat find and it is from the same period as the house. It cleaned up well.

That's pretty sweet, I'm sure a Ford restorer would pay for that!

Nice finds! That house looks really old, do you know the year it was built?

I know the year the house was built was 1870. There is an awful lot of forged nails on the site which leads me to believe that there was a prior dwelling there as well.

I have dated the Ford plate to 1914-1922. It is a ignition switch plate for the coil of a model T. I have also pulled many wheats and a couple of Barbers from the site dated in that range as well.
