I have pulled out some interesting targets from this area in the past, it was a very popular spot for local kids in the 50' and 60'S, you would park on the along the coast Hwy and than walk across the railroad tracks to get to the beach. Working the area between the railroad and the beach can deliver early silver coins. Gave it a try and came up with a few things including an early silver dime and a gold ear ring.
