Default First hunt with the new detector, silver!

My new nox came in the mail yesterday and I took her on her first voyage this morning. Difference between night and day on the wet sand! I've never used a dd coil before and I'm going to need some more practice on the pinpointing. Found a small silver ring though, a moon pendant or something and what I can only assume is a fancy hair doodad. Thanks for looking and good luck.

Is it just me or is minelab attempting to blind us with that backlight? Holy smokes its bright in the dark morning hours.

IF you have the 800 you can dim the backlight. If you have the 600, you can now download an upgrade that will also dim that one.

Nice score on the ring

I've got the 600, and thanks for the info. I'm gonna get right on that.

Like the 15' coil better for pinpointing and sweep balance.

Congrats on the silver! I'm pretty sure that's a hair doodad/skewer thing.

Good to see a Monterey bay beach report. I'm in the Salinas area

Hopefully we'll see some big storm/erosion action this winter. So far ... no swells on the horizon in the surfer forecasts.

Thumbs up

Awesome first outing! The Nox really upped my game as well. Hard to tell scale, but I think the hair doodad may be a shawl pin? Either way, great finds! Congrats!
