Default 1723 Hibernia and some really nice relics NSFT

Hey everyone, was able to get out last week to hunt a spot with a buddy that he has permission for. Its a ploughed farm field in a town that dates back to mid 1600's. The finds are just unreal and drip with age! Wish I had found a silver coin, they were found, just not by me unfortunately. Oldest silver that has come out so far was a hammered silver and a 1691 cut French silver. A few spectacle buckle fragments have been unearthed here as well, a couple of spearpoints too. Hoping to get back to this site soon, I just havent been hunting much, and time has been very scarce to even post finds. I apologize for the crappy photos. That Hibernia is cleaning up very nicely, I will post a picture when I'm done with my fingernail and toothpick cleaning appreciate the looks and until next time, happy hunting!

Very nice coin! Nothing beats digging up a coin that's almost 300 years old

My oldest coin is a 1723 Rosa Americana penny, which was also minted by William Wood.

Thank you all for the comments, it helps keep the fire burning! I have given the Hibernia a quick 20 minute toothpick treatment. The outside edges are flaking, but other than that, this copper is in really good shape for its age. I'm hoping to get back to this site either tomorrow or Friday. I went again last Friday, and was only able to pull a few old relics and 2 clad quarters... Not the best photos, but probably better than the first. Thanks again everyone!
