Default Two ring day

Hor a sort 4 hour hunt at lake. By the big lake is a swimming pond that is very popular with the campers . It ha small beach not very trashy. So I hit slow and low . Digging every strong signal. The water is still to cold to swim, except for the brave one that tried 😂.not much clad , but I founding one 915 toe ring. 3 to 4 inches deep came in 61to 62 on the at pro. Ring 2, am at a lost no maker marks itís a pretty ring fake stones. Acid test with silver and 10, and 14k acid come up negative. Tried platinum, again negative, did a file test and no copper, so I have no idea what kind of metal it is came up as 61 to 63 on the at pro mid tone. I know itís a junker but itís the nicest one that I have found. Any help with it will be appreciated. Thanks HH

The ring with the stones is just stunning! Even if it's not precious metal, I like it!

CHeck for silver. Lay on a piece of foil, spit on it (saliva only), wrap it tightly and leave for 30 seconds. Unwrap, if it stinks to high-heaven, it's silver. If no smell, then probably steel of some sort. Magnetic?

A good silver test is scratch on the stone, use 18k acid. Silver lights up from white to purple. Try it with 925 , you'll see what I mean.
