Hello everyone. Its been awhile. Hunted yesterday and today on a new field that had at least two early sites on it. They were occupied up until around 1970 and later torn down. So lots of trash but also lots of variety. Colonial coppers, large cents, indians, Barber, SLQ, Washingtons and lots of wheats. Silver spoon fragment, and complete skeleton key and crotal bell are the best relics

Nice finds and a great variety. I am partial to that old skeleton key as I remember using one to lock our doors when I was a kid many many years go.

More east coast lies. I am absolutely sick. :sissyfight:

Oh, but I love the deep green patina on the IH's !

Digging at its finest Toasted. Congrats on some very fantastic digs as again the research paid. Looks like you hunted a time capsule with the Coins and Relic's, some very amazing finds. Trapper

You have found some cool items. I think finding old things like the the key are really cool.

What depths do you find those old coins at? I've hit a 200 year old house / farm property that recently closed ( was a plant nursey for the last 20 years), and other then some clad, matchbox cars from the 70'S and 1 1800's bridal rosette, have found SQUAT.

Some of the stuff is laying on surface but most of it is quite shallow. Use to be plowed but its no till now so stuffs only going to get deeper from now on. I have dug LOTS of trash here to find this stuff. Here were the results of hunt 3. 1809 Half cent and others
