Default Carved US base bullet & more

I got out today & got in some relic hunting. This is the first real hunt since I had my hip replacement surgery. Thanks for looking. HH

Great hunt, Tim!. Man that carved US base is sweet. Bet that set of belt plate hooks was a heart breaker, tho. Hope you get several more digs before winter sets in. I'm hoping to get out again after Thanksgiving. Bob and I got out a couple of times to a new spot -- found several round balls and a couple of flat buttons, but nothing really worth posting

Those bullets are so cool. Educate me. Were the stars and US hand carved into them?

Not a bullet expert, but I would guess the stars and US were cast in the bullet mold

The stars & US came from a punch that drove the bullet through a sizing press.
