Nice! You'd think who ever bought that would have sprung for a silver coin in a silver bezel:lol:

Awesome find !!! It was even minted in Denver, nice snag!

Thanks ! I hadn't noticed the mint mark until you mentioned it. I don't ever see these coins, so I wasn't sure where to look for it.

I kind of thought the same thing when I found it, but it was probably plated and looked really nice at the time the owner had it.

Nice dig! Gonna crack it out of the bezel?

I've been fighting the urge to open it, but have decided I'm just going to keep it the way I found it.

That is not a common dig Jeremy. Kennedy's are hard to come by under the coil. Congrats on a rare dig. Trapper

Thanks Trapper!

Very nice find!! To find a 64 is great!

Thanks C W!

I'm pretty sure Barber halves are way more common finds on here than a 64...

Big congrats JB!

Nice find....Clad Kennedys don't turn up all that often, let alone a silver one.

Thanks!

Thanks Jim!

Thanks!

Bet you were surprised with that one.. Nice..
I was really surprised. It was a mid tone at first, I opened the plug and seen a green ringed round piece of metal and thought it was an aluminum lid or something like that.

Congrats on your first 90% Kennedy...a sweet big silver!
Thanx captain!
That’s a cool unique find! Nice hunting!
Thanks!
