Idea for a metal detecting stand

I would like to make a metal detecting stand to display my detectors, but I not much inspired right now to create something original, if you could share some ideas it would be nice.

As Booker said, a guitar stand of the right type would make an ideal way to display or store your MD when not in use. Here is the kind I have in mind.

Thats sound nice could make something like a the guitar stand! I was thinking of something like a katana display stand. What do you think?

I dug a bunch of horse shoes from an old Civil War site and welded them to form a detector holder. Have it on my detecting room wall. steve in so az

I use guitar wall hangers for my 5 guitars and ace 250, you know the ones where you can hang you guitar on the wall

It has given me some ideas of doing some rought iron work... now where have I put my welding set ???
