I went to a closed down school today and it was a dang mine field of pull tabs and pencil eraser heads.[emoji23] Found a few clad, but at least I'm pulling more coins than junk!

If that school is old enough, there should be silver hiding under the trash and clad...nice hunt!

I think you did great,that's not much trash at all.Ill bet some of those pull tab signals aren't pulltabs

That's what worries me! Lol now all be it I've only been metal detecting for 1 month now and Ive been digging a lot of trash on purpose in pro mode 28 descrim on at pro to learn signals vs good targets. Normally nickles pop at 53 steady but so do pull tabs.. but pull tabs jump around a little.

School is from the 1940's. So not to old but should have some silver!

Nice finds,,,any one of several of them could have been gold.

Keep at it,,in this site.
Finding clad like you have,,,good sign the site not pounded,,at least not yet.

I am just a little jealous. Every school is my state is behind locked fences with no trespassing signs. When they close one they keep things locked up until they sell the building and grounds.

Keep working that school. There has to be a silver or two there somewhere.

I agree, 1940's is plenty old enough for silver keep hammering it! Just got to find spots where the dirt is still original. You never know what can show up in school yards. Great finds and happy hunting!
