Default Another newbie

Hey All,

I just thought I would introduce myself.

I live in Southern Oklahoma and recently bought a Fisher F2. I bought that detector because of the recommendations from members of this forum. So far, I love it. It is so lightweight. I need to get to know it better but I think it will work out great for me.

I am not new to detecting. I just took a couple of years break from it. I used to have a Garrett. It was a pretty high dollar detector but I think the F2 will work just as well.

I live and work on a cattle ranch. I am interested in hunting for old coins and relics. There are a few old homestead sites on the ranch that should keep me busy for awhile. If anyone is interested in hunting with me, let me know. I would love to have some company.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone here. Zippy58

Hey Zippy from just up the road from SeabeeRon. We're glad you joined us.

The F2 is really gaining in popularity, and we'll welcome your comments.

BTW: We love pictures and stories too.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. As soon as it warms up a bit, I will be out hunting some more. I will post picks if I find anything worth taking a pic of.

Default welcome

Welcome to the forum Zippy. Southern Oklahoma is a little bit of a trip but might be fun to get together some time. I'm still planning on taking a Historic Route 66 trip some day from Missouri to Oklahoma City. But there is a few other people on the forum from Oklahoma. Good luck in your searching.

Welcome from Texas. Great to have you aboard. Sounds like you have a nice area for hunting. What part of Oklahoma are you from? I will be working in Tulsa for a few weeks next month.

Dusty Eagle, I saw where a few members were from Oklahoma. Seems that they are not very close to my area though. Oh, I will wait patiently.
