Default Carbon county, Utah

If you are in or near here you may be interested in this. On a radio talk show someone called in and said they worked for a garbage company there. He went on to say that the state of New York is dredging parts of the Staten Island area. They load the diggings on barges and send them to Houston. Then they are put on trucks and hauled to Carbon County to be put in landfills. He said they layer the stuff out to dry.
It seems to me if one could get into the area some neat old finds might be dug. Probably a few human remains as well Give it a try, Steve in so az

There's a lot of dredging going on in the Hudson river which ultimately flows to Staten Island ... the dredging is to clean up the PCB's that had been dumped in the river by GE over many years ...
