Default Digging tool

was wandering around KellyCo's website and saw that Minelab put out a digging tool recently since it was marked new. Anyone know anything about it or had experience with it?

Guesing you're talking about this one:

Looks like an unserrated Lesche. For that price they want for the Minelab, I'd go with the Lesche.

I got the new Minelab digger with a Sovereign GT I purchased. It isn't nearly as good as the Lesche. It's not sharp on the edges(has China stamped on the back of the blade)

I think you will have better luck with the Lesche.

I can’t tell about the lesche because never seen or used one but I have the Minelab digging tool and today looking for relics in an old Hacienda (constructed around 1860) I bended it digging on clay like soil.

Well it was my fist time using the minelab digging tool, so maybe I put a lot of force trying to dig. But I will buy the lesche soon and see how it goes.

I don't think a person should be able to bend a "good' digger by just digging soil. Sounds like a person should stay clear of the Minelab digger, it should be alot better for the price of it. Steve.

I saw a Video on metal detecting and they said that there are some lesche tools that are not as strong made as the one they sell at Predator Tools. Blade length = 7 inches Blade width = 1 3/4 inches Total Tool
(Weight = 6.4 oz)Length = 12 inches. and the one from Predator Tools (Weight - 14 Ounces). http://www.predatortools.com/item_details.asp?ID=42

Stay clear of the Garrett Treasure Digger as well. I broke my brand new one in half the very first time out digging in relatively soft dirt in a pasture!
