I had two more sessions in the 'Black Grass' field....my motto, dig everything and miss nothing.

You can tell by the amount of metal finds it's where the big house dumped their rubbish.

Deus Lite on Deus Fast on 8 kHz's with V2 software and the 9 inch coil.

Thanks for looking............Doug.

Doug: Great diggin' and congrats. How many hours would you say it took to clean out that site? Just curious. Cheers.

Damn... That is cool. How could you not dig everything when hunting in England? No idea what you might find. Beautiful!

Congrats , always have a winner to show !

Thank you Ron,

I have always been surprised by the amount of unrecognisable bits of metal that I keep finding from this field but they must have had a purpose in life at sometime I assume?

Thank you,

I'm not sure I would be able to clear out this field and the smaller one (now in crop) which had the big house trash deposited in them for 300+ years.

The field, subject to crop rotation will be ploughed every 5-6 years so that action alone will bring 'finds' up to the surface that I have previously missed.

No idea on this item, possible button or cuff-link.

Not sure which way is up.

1/2" high X 1/4" wide.
