Default Joined the silver club!

After taking Elixir's old F4 off his hands and taking the better part of a week or so to get the hang of using it, I finally got the chance to take it out for real on Monday afternoon.
The highlight:

This dime is not only my 1st silver but the oldest I've found to date!
Thanks again to everyone for all your great advice and tips!
Bill

Great coin - I'm curious, did you find it in a low lying, slightly swampy area? I have a theory that the black tarnish comes from swampy areas where there's sulfide in the soil. Congrats.

Thanks for asking -- found it at the lowest-lying part of a field, right in front of a berm marking a property line. Not swampy by any means, but not high ground.

WOW Nice find. Any idea on the history of the spot you pulled it from? Have you been back to hunt it more yet?
